is founder of Yellow Tulip Press as well as its principal author. He is a recognized authority on Lizzie Borden and the Fall River murders and a frequent speaker on the topic. In 1999 he was invited to speak at Lincoln
Center at an event celebrating the opening of the New York City Opera production of “Lizzie Borden.” Ed received
his B.A. degree in English from Mars Hill College, North Carolina, and his M.A. degree from the University of
Tennessee. In addition to his award-winning published writings (both for the Yellow Tulip Press and in numerous
periodicals), he has taught college-level English and composition and acted as learning center coordinator for the last 20
years at a variety of colleges and universities. He currently teaches at San Jose State University. Ed is also a prolific
